This is a good game since i didnt grow up with the is a fun game i can use this instead of buying one or getting it from the virtual console

LOVE this game and the NES original, but there are black bars at the side which can hinder precision platforming, so if you could make it better for new devices that would be awesome, but Id you have an older device, or heck, even a newer device and havent played mega man, do yourself a favor and GET THIS GAME, trust me its worth it.

I remember playing this game back in the day and it is so much fun to play it again! The classic game mode sets everything to the way it was on the original. This is so worth it! A very diverting port of a retro classic. I highly recommend it!

The control scheme on the game is horrible. The jump and shoot buttons are way too close to each other that its it gets confused if you want to jump or shoot. You will not even get half way in to any level with out going crazy. This a major pass

One of my favorite games as a kid and this is a good port. The controls are bad, very bad. The timing and precision that Mega Man games require with jumps makes this difficult to say the least.

I feel like I wasted 99 cents to be honest. Its probably a really cool game but he doesnt even jump high enough to get onto any other levels to shoot at the bad things like what the hell. Kinda want my money back.

Being a huge Megaman fan, with it having always been my favorite game series, I had very high expectations for this (as high as an app game port can be). Its a pretty good port, one of the best out there. It is basically the same in every way as the original with some minor differences noted in most of the other reviews. Really what would make this game a million times better, which would allow me to give it 5 stars, would be if there was an option to use blue tooth to connect a wiimote to it. The touch screen controls are very difficult to use, as they are for most games. Since the buttons are not physical, your fingers can easily drift away from them while youre paying attention to the game rather than where your fingers are located. This is really my biggest problem with this game. If that could be tweaked then this would be my favorite game app of all time. (It appears that the last update was in 2010, so its highly unlikely)

Why not port all the Mega Man games? Why not port them? Why just the second one?

... but the controls for iPhone could be better. Still a classic.

Contols arent the best and game is a little easier than original, but its alright and still works on the new phones, even though it hasnt been updated and doesnt look very nice to the eye

Title says it all. Swiping brings up a menu that exits the game. Hope you dont have two thumbs bigger than a 3 year olds bc you will constantly hit jump instead of shoot or move. Happy playing !

It is a very GREAT app for only a buck! The controls are comfortable. I DEMAND YOU TO BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please flip the game so my hand isnt coving the speaker when I play this.

This is fantastic in my opinion. It should get five stars, but the only flaw I see with this is that you cannot change the button sizes! There is so much extra screen space on the sides, and absolutely no option to adjust the size of the buttons. I think every iOS game needs the ability to customize controls, but this just seems even more strange here when there is so much excess screen, the buttons are so small, and Megaman is all about precision. The fact that this game is so good just makes this small issue even more painful. Please fix this!

I love this game can you please make more because I cannot stop playing and beat the whole game it is good but please make more! Like megaman 10 or all of them

The d-pad. Plz fix this! Otherwise perfect port impossible to compete w/. Although, wily wars would be nice…

For the price the game is great however the controls make the game super frustrating. When playing the horizontal the jump button is almost never responsive and when playing vertical the analog stick is terrible.

Can we please have the original 3 mega man I want 1&3 after this app.im a FAN of Mega Man now and I want more!So you make them and I will buy them....P.S what the heck with the ending of MM2 the alien & only bubbles hurt him??:/

Ignore the complaints about the controls for this game. If you loved the original Mega Man 2 for NES, youre gonna love this app. With enough time and practice, anyone can master this game. I was even able to beat it on hard mode. This app is a great price, has great replay value, and brought back great memories!
