Mega Man® II App Reviews

So glad they made this for mobile. I beat it a bunch of times and it got me back into the series. Put this in my top 3 iphone games. My 3 year old nephew has it on his iPad and LOVES it. Good job capcom. Its pretty close to the nes version but I think hard on classic is even still a little too easy (for instance bosses are too easy to kill). Also noticed some people got stuck on Wiley stage 1 ladder. I did too but once you figure out the configuration it becomes easy.

The game for me is on easy and fun and easy until heat man and air man so I spent my whole Saturday trying to beat these levels but lost because on heat man it is easy until the end of the level were the Vicks give you no time to jump and on air man when you jump spikes hit you off the platform and if you are able to do it then these enemys hit you off an okay spent money …but waste of Saturday

I was curious why people were so exited for Megaman to get into Smash, so I checked this game out, and some YouTube, and I was immediately wowed by the gameplay! I highly recommend it to those who havent played Megaman before.

This game is the worst game I have ever played. First, the controls, they dont work! Whenever you are running and you are going to jump over a gap that is in the floor you press A and you know what Megaman does? He doesnt jump and he falls down into the pit, and its the same with the analog stick, when you jump to grab onto a ladder he doesnt grab it. Second, this game has the worst enemy designs, one enemy that is in almost every single level is a flying, spinning washing machine with eyes. Another is an orange gorilla that hands on the platform jumps in front of you when you get close and then it just stAnds there doing nothing. Another is a giant frog that spits out 3 tiny frogs.... Really? There are many more things that is wrong with this game but if I included them the list would be too long! DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE GAME!!!!

This app is perfect! It is just like the real MMII, with a few subtle differences.

This is a great port of a great game. But whatever you do, face Heat Man last.

Best game ever for everyone wholikes MegaMan and capcom did a good job on this one! This game is awesome for side scroller players as I am one myself. I find mega man awesome and I give this game a great review. I recommend it a lot

I grew up on Nintendo, playing these types of games back when I was 6-7. Never actually played Megaman as a child, but Im all about retro games. The gameplay is fun and I can see why it was a hit back in the day. Only negatives are the tiny screen and the controls. Its really only annoying on the levels where you need to jump 20+ times. One time where you miss the button and youre dead, when you would have easily done it on a regular controller. Overall though, criticizing controls is unfair, because its impossible not to have touch screen controls. Spacing the A and B buttons out horizontally, like NES would be great, along with full screen, like Mega Man X. The controls are way better on that port.

The game is as great as it was back in the 90s, but 1. The stacking enemy doesnt fall apart when approached, 2. The jump button sometimes gets stuck. 3. The bird trick for boss intros doesnt work. Plz fix

This game does nothing to mega man 2 which is whats great about, it mega man 2 on the nes was amazing and seeing this game change nothing except for different modes other than normal and super hard mode is great granted the fact that its in an arcade cabinet is annoying at first but when you get used to it it just ads charm and cuteness in conclusion this game is AMAZiNG so I strongly recommend playing it in easy normal and hard

The jump controls are annoying. It makes it impossible to beat most levels. Fix and fine tune the controls on your ports and I would most likely buy more games. Second point, put out more ports. People love mega man games. I would love to see more of them. Just invest more time in the controls. I would love to see more mega man, mega man x, mega man z, and mega man nt games. The reason why sales on remakes to console failed is because most fans are of an older generation and are working. That means the best platform is mobile so we can play during our breaks and so forth.

While the port itself is fine, touch screen controls are GARBAGE for platforming games where your reactions matter. This game would definitely benefit from adding MOGA support as it is a masterpiece that deserves it.

Megaman is my favorite video game character, and this app is my favorite on the app store.

The game is the same which is cool, I love mega man 2. But I cant enjoy it much when mega man doesnt do what i want him to do. The d pad doesnt respond well and Its probably due the touch screen and not being able to feel where you are pressing. Gets to be a pain. A and B are too small.

So Im a huge MegaMan food and I brought Mega Man II for my iPod fourth-generation I finally get my iPhone 6 and decide to download the game come to find out the sound doesnt work this game is not optimized for the iPhone 6im very disappointed please someone fix this

This was the first game I got on my iPhone 3GS in 2009. It was hard to adjust to the glass screen as a controller. I managed to beat it. Now that mfi controllers are here this old classic deserves an update to enable authentic control.

Current version on IOS 9.1 has no sound nor music.
